Fair enough, if that is the position you are taking. Even if we may disagree, you should agree with the fact that spreading false information isn't right. I have noticed a trend with Examiner, and frankly always have to look into the information they are supplying as it tends to be exaggerated, misleading and sometimes deliberately false.
Anyway, hope you have a good time at E3, might even see you next year. Will keep a look out for the eye patch. ;)
P.S I haven't b...
Thank you gamezine for actually reading the numbers unlike Examiner.
Anyway the great news for the PS3 is that is saw a sales increase in FY2008 of 940,000 units (practically 1 million) over FY2007. Sony have also made a forecast of 13mil units sold/shipped in FY2009, though I actually think they may sell more units than that prediction, especially if they do have a price cut.
Oh...come on, you can't pull that one. Your comments are so transparent it is hilarious. My comments in this thread show I actually bothered to read the numbers and discerned from them that the sales forecast numbers were added to the total number...It isn't hard.
On the other hand, you clearly thought these numbers were correct as demonstrated by your comments, you can't backpedal on that one. :)
Either way, I couldn't care less, I just don't like false information...
Think logically how he got the numbers dude it doesn't add up, you should know better than that.
http://www.sony.net/SonyInf... (Go to 18.)
He has added the projected (forecasted) numbers Sony expected to sell in the FY2008 (which they predicted in Jan). See how they projected 10mil PS3 unit sales, now look at the column next to it, the real FY2008 sales. You can see the PS3 actuall...
This article should be pulled for blatantly falsifying numbers, Examiner are renowned for this type of sh*t.
The moron is using sales forecasts to get his numbers...
I'm sure he knows what he is doing as well, clearly it's designed to generate hits.
OutRun is such a classic. Anyone keen for a Daytona USA arcade release, I hope it happens?
The still images actually look quite good, too bad the trailers are horrible...
What a fantastic, articulate article from a real game journalist. As someone who aspires to write thoughtful, well researched and genuine gaming content, it is disheartening to see a slew of poor quality 'gaming sites' (you know who you are), getting enormous views/hits because they manage to stir up the fanboys.
Even though I don't own a PS3 (I'm hoping an E3 announcement will change that), I like to follow the 'happenings' of all consoles, because I am genuinely interested in ...
Can you get the original 150 Pokemon in Gold/Silver cause I don't like the newer ones?
Great comment, I agree.
IGN is a little late to the party :)
I haven't even heard about some of those games. The Crusaders: Invasion of Constantinople looks awesome, what a great time period to explore. LOL Hopefully we get a solid release for Alan Wake at E3 :)
Exactly. This is the sort of thing Sony should have been doing for a long time, in the current climate of the gaming industry, you have to use anything you can as leverage.
Can't wait for this game.
p.s I never have to hear another complaint about 'buying exclusives'. SWEET!!!!!
People actually enjoyed that article? It certainly wasn't subtle...Whatever floats your boat I guess...
Speculation? Nope. Optimism? Yeah.
Square Enix have said multiple times that the porting process and localisation will occur simultaneously, of course done by different teams.
Awesome. Lost Odyssey is my favourite current gen RPG, actually it is one of my favourite games this gen no matter the genre.
A LO 2 announcement would be fantastic.
Agree, there is a difference between unfounded 'hate' and criticism, yet the former seems to be the case around here.
Sure we can look at videos and read previews, but until we can actually play the game, I don't think anyone is in a position to say one is better than the other (why we have to compare them constantly is ridiculous in the first place).
It is pathetic that these tragic stories always generate lots of heat on N4G, fanboys be damned.
Ouch...Not an Apple fan? :)
The iPhone is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with in the portable gaming space. I don't think the pie is large enough on the console side for Apple though.
Sounds good. Yeah hopefully next year the 'work' I have been doing permits me to go to E3 as well (though a plane trip from Australia is apparently fairly expensive).
Looking forward to E3, if you care to PM your site/works details I would be happy to have a look at your coverage. Confidentially of course.
